Mulhouse brawl Leaves One dead,Four in Custody
MULHOUSE,Haut-Rhin – A 37-year-old man died Monday following a violent brawl between two groups in Mulhouse,authorities announced. Four individuals are currently in police custody as part of an investigation into the incident, which also left one person injured.
The confrontation, which occurred Sunday, escalated into a physical altercation involving firearms, baseball bats, iron bars, and other weapons, according to prosecutor Nicolas Heitz. The victim died in hospital from injuries sustained during the fight.the injured individual suffered head wounds from being struck with a blunt object, but their life is not in danger.
Investigators have determined the brawl stemmed from a pre-existing conflict between two groups within the same community. The groups involved comprised a total of nine individuals, and none of the participants reside in the coteaux district where the fight took place.
An investigation in flagrance – meaning conducted instantly after the offense – has been launched by the judicial police, focusing on charges of assassination and attempted assassination within an organized gang.Authorities are actively seeking additional suspects.
