Milei Holds Cabinet Meeting Amidst Reports of Shake-Up and Strategy Review

President Javier Milei convened ⁤a two-hour cabinet meeting today, following a challenging electoral performance and fueled by speculation regarding potential personnel changes and a reassessment of ⁤electoral strategy. The meeting occurred amidst ‍reports that ‌the wing aligned with presidential advisor Santiago Caputo is pushing ⁢for modifications within the government structure.

Several key figures were absent from the initial meeting in Gonnet, including Eduardo “Lule”​ Menem,⁤ right-hand man to Karina Milei in the national assembly, and Minister of Economy Luis ⁢”Toto” Caputo. Menem has been linked to audios ⁤attributed to ‍former National Disability Agency head diego Spagnuolo, which reference alleged coimas.

The reported changes are said to target​ the menem cousins, already facing​ internal questioning regarding their provincial electoral strategies⁣ and⁢ Martín Menem’s management of ​congressional affairs.‍ Libertarian ‌YouTuber Daniel Parisian,known as‌ El ‍Gordo Dan and aligned with Caputo,publicly called for the removal of Sebastián Pareja,the official in charge of the Buenos Aires⁤ province,following the electoral ‌setback. Parisian wrote online, “Dt orders the team. Here we will continue to bank until the end. But the⁤ team is already ordered. Ordene the team​ and we will overcome.”

While Argentine ​actions experienced⁣ a meaningful fall on Wall Street⁤ and ⁤market nervousness increased, President Milei attended a subsequent meeting with representatives from the Inter-American Growth Bank (IDB) ‍after 11:30 ‌AM.

Chief of Cabinet Guillermo‌ Francos, also absent from the Gonnet gathering, addressed the media,​ acknowledging conversations with his Buenos Aires counterpart, Carlos Bianco,​ regarding potential changes. However,he ​suggested postponing any decisions until ⁣December,contingent on the anticipated transitions of Patricia ‍Bullrich to the Senate,Luis Petri to the Chamber of Deputies,and the departure ⁣of Manuel‌ Adorni,who was elected a Buenos‌ Aires legislator in the May 18 elections.

“We are ⁤going to ⁢analyze all this⁣ and ⁣try to focus on the October elections in the way ‍it allows ⁣us to ‌obtain a triumph ther,” Francos stated. He downplayed ⁣immediate speculation ⁣about ministerial changes,adding,”That is an issue that the president has⁤ to resolve,he has not yet expressed.”

Sandra Petovello was also absent from​ the Libertad Bunker yesterday⁣ but attended the Casa rosada cabinet meeting, reportedly making advancements in La Plata. Francos excused his absence from the Gonnet meeting due to a family matter.
