ASUS Unveils ROG Ally X Alongside Standard ROG Ally on October 16, 2025
TAIPEI, TAIWAN – October 16, 2025 – ASUS Republic of gamers (ROG) today announced the immediate availability of both the ROG Ally handheld gaming console and a new premium variant, the ROG Ally X. The launch expands ASUS’s presence in the portable PC gaming market, offering consumers a choice between a standard model and a higher-performance, feature-rich option.
The release arrives as demand for dedicated handheld gaming devices continues too surge, fueled by a growing appetite for PC gaming on the go. The ROG Ally and Ally X aim to capitalize on this trend by delivering a powerful and versatile gaming experience in a compact form factor. Both devices are poised to compete with established players like Valve’s Steam Deck and other emerging handhelds, potentially reshaping the landscape of portable PC gaming.
The standard ROG Ally package includes the ROG Xbox Ally console itself, a 65W charger, and a console stand.The ROG Ally X offers a similar package, but with enhanced specifications and features.
