Karel Novák recounted a humorous anecdote illustrating the age difference between them, revealing he once mistakenly introduced himself as Petr Novák’s father. He immediately attempted to correct the misstatement, but was interrupted by another conversation and the moment passed.Later, at an autograph session following a concert, the gentleman returned, shook Karel novák’s hand, and praised him as a proud father – unaware that Petr Novák was seven years his senior.
Throughout his life, Petr Novák battled health issues. Karel Novák described him as being very thin, approximately 189 centimeters tall but lacking muscle mass. He noted that novák had difficulty with food intake since childhood, coupled with personal struggles that often left him feeling sad and withdrawn.
Karel Novák also spoke of Novák’s past struggles with alcohol, which he ultimately overcame. he fondly remembered Novák’s culinary skills, specifically his talent for preparing chicken.”He’d make an indication of the chicken,” Karel Novák said, “and I’d eat half one day, the other half the next, while Peter would have a bottle of wine. He just didn’t eat.”
