Samsung Galaxy S24 to Relaunch in India wiht Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Chip
Samsung is preparing to re-release the Galaxy S24 in India, this time powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform.The move addresses consumer preference for Snapdragon processors and follows an initial launch of the S24 in India equipped with the Exynos 2400 chip.
The Snapdragon variant of the Galaxy S24 will be available in 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB configurations, priced at Rs. 74,999 and Rs. 79,999 respectively. notably, the Snapdragon model will ship with Android 15, offering users an extended software support lifecycle compared to the Exynos version which launched with Android 14.Samsung has not yet announced specific launch or sale dates.
The Galaxy S24 Snapdragon will maintain the specifications of the existing model, including a 6.2-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Vision Booster technology. It will also feature a triple-camera system comprised of a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens with optical zoom. Powering the device is a 4000mAh battery.
