Dyson Unveils New Lineup Including revamped V8,Advanced V16,and Compact Air Purifier
October 24,2024 – Dyson today announced a range of new products spanning floor care and air purification,wiht availability staggered between late 2024 and 2026. The lineup includes a refreshed version of the popular V8 cordless vacuum,the high-performance V16 Piston Animal,and the new HushJet Purifier Compact HJ10 air purifier,slated for release by the end of this month.
The company detailed several additional floor care innovations arriving in 2026, building on the previously announced PencilVac. Among the highlights is the Dyson V8 Cyclone, a reimagining of the 2016 model boasting 30 percent more suction power – 150 air watts – and double the runtime, now reaching 60 minutes. It features a triggerless power button and compatibility with a self-emptying docking station.
Dyson also introduced the V16 Piston Animal cordless stick vacuum, equipped with Dyson’s latest motor and a “All Floor Cones Sense” cleaner head. This head automatically adjusts suction and brush bar speed based on floor type and includes LED illumination. The V16 also supports an updated wet roller head, dubbed Submarine 2.0, previously featured on the Dyson V15 Detect, and incorporates a wipe-clean bin mechanism for easier debris removal.A self-emptying docking station will be available separately.
Expanding beyond stick vacuums, Dyson unveiled the Dyson clean+Wash Hygiene, a new wet and dry floor cleaner designed with a filter-free system to contain collected debris within the cleaner head. This differs from the company’s existing WashG1,which is a wet-only floor cleaner.
The HushJet Purifier Compact HJ10 air purifier will be the first product from this declaration to hit the market, retailing for $350. Pricing and specific release dates for the remaining products will be announced closer to their respective launches in 2026.
