Quebec apples: 88 Orchards Open for U-Pick Season
MONT-SAINT-GREGOIRE, Quebec - As of September 3, 2025, Quebec residents have access to a bountiful harvest with 88 orchards across the province offering self-catering apple picking experiences. The annual tradition provides a direct connection to local agriculture and a popular autumn activity for families and individuals.
The surge in demand for locally sourced food, coupled with a desire for outdoor experiences, has fueled the continued popularity of U-pick orchards. This year’s offering includes a diverse range of apple varieties and orchard settings, from established family farms to those within national park boundaries. The availability of these orchards supports Quebec’s agricultural sector and provides consumers with fresh, seasonal produce.
Participating orchards include Emma Orchard, Verger family Gould, Verger François Legault, Verger Henryville, Larivière Orchard, Mountain Orchard (Verger Yvan Duchesne inc.),the Orchard of the Mont-Saint-Bruno National park-IRDA,Vergers Small and Fils,Vergers Pierre Tremblay et fils Inc., Verger St-Marc, Three Apple Orchard, and Vineyard & Ciderie Coteau Rougemont.
