Samsung Health Adds Telehealth, Prescriptions & Workouts – September 8

Samsung Health App Gains ⁣Telehealth, Prescription & Fitness Features

Samsung is expanding the capabilities of its Health app through new partnerships with HealthTap,‌ Walgreens, and iFIT, bringing telehealth visits, enhanced‌ prescription ‍management, and expert-guided workouts directly to users. The updates, announced by Samsung Mobile press, aim to provide more seamless access to healthcare and fitness resources.

Starting⁤ September 8,Samsung Health users will be able to access virtual doctor visits ⁣powered by HealthTap’s ⁢Find Care platform. The feature will also allow users to manage appointments and submit follow-up questions.

Prescription management will‍ be improved through integration with Walgreens, enabling users to connect to ​pharmacies, track medications, and compare prescription history. Samsung⁢ notes the ‍prescription management interface has been redesigned.

Fitness enthusiasts will gain access to⁤ “premium fitness content” from ‌iFIT, including high-intensity interval training and recovery routines categorized by trending workouts and seasonal recommendations.

It remains unclear whether subscriptions to the partner services will be required to access the new features.
