Superman and green Lantern Voice Actors Hint at Injustice 3 Growth
Toronto, ON – Fans hoping for a new installment in the Injustice fighting game series may be in luck. Voice actors George Newbern (Superman) and Phil Lamarr (Green Lantern) have seemingly confirmed the development of Injustice 3 during a recent fan event in Toronto, possibly last weekend at Fan Expo.
The confirmation stems from interactions with fans who shared their experiences online. Brendan Borrow posted a now-deleted tweet detailing a meeting with Newbern, stating he told the actor he was the “perfect superman sound” and expressed his enjoyment of MultiVersus. Newbern reportedly responded that he was currently working on injustice 3.
Similarly, Twitter user @Dannysoul0 claims Lamarr stated they were working on Injustice 3 while also signing a copy of injustice 2 for the fan.
These reports align with existing information suggesting a new Injustice title is in the works. Leaks from databases have previously hinted at the game’s development, and NetherRealm Studios has reportedly discussed future DC projects with warner Bros. Finding’s DC franchise leaders, James Gunn and Peter Safran. NetherRealm has historically alternated development between the Mortal Kombat and Injustice franchises, and is currently concluding content support for Mortal Kombat 1.
The potential arrival of Injustice 3 would mark a significant release, as the previous installment, Injustice 2, debuted in 2017.
