As Mexican soccer fans anticipate their teams’ performance in upcoming matches, Major League Soccer (MLS) is celebrating its recent success, preparing for the Leagues Cup semifinals.
“We played as we wanted. We scored a goal, we created occasions, they did not create much. That was very good,” said Inter Miami technical assistant Javier Morales.
Morales continued, “In the second part they adjusted and, of course, after all the effort of the first half we could not keep the pace. They found spaces,but in the end we found a way to continue fighting and win another critically important game.”
A recent post on the official MLS account highlighted the league’s and Canada’s victories over Mexican teams, sparking discussion in the sports community.
