Iowa STEM Day at State Fair Offers Hands-on Experiences
Des Moines, Iowa – Attendees at the Iowa State Fair will have the chance to engage in dozens of hands-on activities at the annual STEM Day, hosted by the Iowa Governor’s STEM Advisory Council and the Iowa department of Education. The event, scheduled for Sunday, will feature live performances and interactive exhibits from businesses and organizations across the state.
From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., visitors to the grand concourse can explore exhibits and enjoy live performances on the MidAmerican Energy Stage. Performers include representatives from the Blank Park Zoo,the Grout Museum,Wartburg College,and the Local 5 Weather lab experience. [[1]]
