Arizona Triathlon announces 2025⁣ Schedule, First Home Race

TUCSON, Ariz. ‍- Arizona Triathlon unveiled‌ its complete 2025 competition ⁢schedule on Friday, highlighted by the ​programS inaugural home race.​ Head Coach ‍Wes Johnson will ​lead a‍ team⁤ returning ten triathletes from‍ the 2024 National ⁢Championship squad, including senior Kelly lyn wetteland ​and‌ sophomore Margareta Vrablova, who achieved second and ‍third place​ respectively at the 2024 National ‍Championship. The Wildcats will welcome Jenna Gilhooly as​ the ⁢team’s sole freshman⁢ addition for ⁤the upcoming season.Arizona ​will kick off the season with two road races,⁢ beginning with ‍the southern Hills Collegiate Cup ‌on August 30 in ⁤South⁣ Dakota. Following ⁢this, the team will travel to ‍Colorado for ‌the Grand Junction Desert Heat Collegiate Cup on ⁣September⁢ 13.

The Wildcats will host thier first-ever home race on September 20. specific details regarding the event will be released at a later date.

Arizona’s⁤ schedule continues with the NCAA West National Qualifier ⁣on October 26 in Fort Worth,Texas,culminating in‍ the USA ⁤Triathlon National Championship on November 8 in Tempe,Arizona.
