BREAKING: THE BOYZ‘s concert in seoul, part of their “THE BLAZE” world tour, was delayed thursday, August 10, following a bomb threat received at the KSPO Dome (Olympic Gymnastics Arena) in Songpa-gu, Seoul. Police and fire department officials have completed a safety inspection, and the concert is now scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM KST.
A fax claiming an explosive device was planted at the KSPO Dome was sent to the Korea Sports promotion Foundation earlier on thursday afternoon. Authorities immediately evacuated the venue and initiated a search, involving personnel from the Songpa Police Station and the Seoul Fire Department.
The concert, the third night of THE BOYZ’s “THE BLAZE” world tour stop in Seoul, was originally slated to begin at 4:00 PM KST, with doors opening at an earlier, unspecified time.Following the initial report, the group’s agency, ONE HUNDRED, announced an unavoidable delay to both the door opening and concert start times.
After the all-clear was given following the safety inspection,ONE HUNDRED released a further statement confirming the revised schedule: doors will now open at 4:45 PM KST,and the concert will commence at 6:00 PM KST. The agency apologized for the inconvenience, particularly given the hot weather conditions, and stated that cold water is being distributed to attendees.
THE BOYZ, comprised of members Juyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Sunwoo, Kevin, new, Q, Haknyeon, Hwall, and Sangyeon, debuted in December 2017 under Cre.ker Entertainment (now ONE HUNDRED). “THE BLAZE” is the group’s second world tour, following their first in 2019.The tour includes stops in North America, Europe, japan, and Southeast Asia.
