This certification, issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Industry, confirms the device meets local content requirements.
The Oppo A5 Pro 5G, released in March 2025, featured the mediatek Dimensity 6300 System-on-chip (SoC), a display with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP primary camera, and a substantial 5,800mAh battery supported by 45W fast charging.The TKDN listing suggests the A6 Pro 5G will likely build upon this foundation.
While upgrades between the A5 Pro 5G and its immediate predecessors were incremental, particularly regarding core specifications, industry trends indicate oppo may increase the battery capacity of the A6 Pro 5G beyond the 5,800mAh found in the A5 Pro 5G. This aligns with the growing consumer demand for extended battery life in smartphones.
Despite the TKDN certification, a launch in the immediate future is unlikely. Given the March 2025 release of the oppo A5 Pro 5G in Indonesia, market analysts anticipate the Oppo A6 Pro 5G will likely become available in the Indonesian market during 2026.
