Calgary police are investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Monday afternoon, resulting in the death of a motorcyclist in the city’s northwest. The incident has prompted significant road closures, causing considerable disruption for commuters.

The collision took place around 2 p.m. at the intersection of Crowchild Trail and Stoney Trail. Authorities have completely closed southbound Stoney Trail from Crowchild Trail, as well as both eastbound and westbound lanes of Crowchild Trail to facilitate the investigation.
