A swift police response on the evening of July 30 led to the rescue of an 18-year-old woman who had been abducted in Gdańsk. The incident, initiated by a tip from the victim’s sister in Ostrołęka, involved a violent confrontation before the kidnapping. Authorities swiftly tracked the vehicle used in the abduction, apprehending the perpetrators.
Violent Attack Preceded Abduction
The investigation revealed that the 20-year-old main suspect, identified as the former boyfriend of the abducted teenager, had attacked the victim’s current partner earlier. This earlier assault set the stage for the subsequent kidnapping.
Inter-City Cooperation Secures Arrests
Police units from Ostrołęka coordinated with services in Gdańsk and Elbląg. Officers successfully identified the getaway car’s license plate and its location. The vehicle carrying the victim and her abductors was soon intercepted and stopped.
