Jerusalem/Amman, August 1 (Xinhua) – A significant joint effort saw several nations, including Jordan, Egypt, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, france, and Spain, conduct parachutages to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza.
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reported that 126 aid cargoes were dropped on Gaza. This operation marked the first-time participation of Germany, Spain, and France in such efforts.
The IDF stated that these three nations have joined the ongoing cooperation between Israel,Jordan,Egypt,and the United Arab Emirates in the Air Large Operation.
The Israeli army indicated its commitment to enhancing the humanitarian response in Gaza alongside the international community, while also refuting claims of a intentional famine.
Concurrently, the Jordanian armed forces announced the dispatch of humanitarian aid, including food and infant supplies, to Gaza in coordination with international partners.
The operation successfully delivered approximately 57 tonnes of essential supplies via air, with contributions from Jordanian, German, Emirati, French, and Spanish aircraft. This brings the total aid delivered to Gaza since the resumption of missions last week to around 148 tonnes.
earlier on Friday, the official Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that 24 Palestinians had been killed by Israeli forces in various incidents across Gaza since dawn. Among these casualties were five individuals who were seeking humanitarian aid.
