Global markets experienced mixed movements as the Shanghai Composite Index saw a slight decline of 0.2%, while Euro Stoxx 50 futures also registered a 0.2% decrease.
In currency markets, the Bloomberg Dollar Spot Index remained largely unchanged. The euro held steady at $1.1413 against the dollar, and the Japanese yen saw little fluctuation, trading at 150.74 per dollar. The offshore yuan also showed minimal change, positioned at 7.2156 per dollar.
Cryptocurrency trading saw Bitcoin fall by 0.5% to $115,928.7, and Ether decreased by 0.6% to $3,712.48.
Bond yields showed varied performance. The yield on 10-year Treasuries was little changed at 4.38%. JapanS 10-year yield also remained stable at 1.540%. In contrast, Australia’s 10-year yield advanced by five basis points to 4.32%.
