Levski Sofia CEO Daniel Borimirov has stated that the club’s player acquisition process is ongoing and will continue until the transfer window closes in September. Borimirov emphasized that any potential signings will be thoroughly evaluated to ensure they possess the necessary qualities for Levski.
Speaking about the team’s current situation,Borimirov indicated that evaluations of the players will be made after observing their performance throughout the season,rather than in advance. He declined to comment on specific transfer targets to avoid fueling media speculation.
“The selection is an open process, it can last until September, then it closes the window. We are in the process of searching for football players and when we make sure that the player has the qualities for Levski, then we will reach for a transfer,” Borimirov explained.
He concluded by stating, “I will refrain a comment on transfers, as I do not want to give occasion to write every day in the media.”
