Former SEBIN Official Found Dead in Táchira, Venezuela

Former Sebin Commissioner found Deceased in Táchira Ravine

The body of a former commissioner for the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (Sebin) was discovered at the bottom of a ravine near the “La mouse” bridge on the Santa Ana road in the Córdoba municipality, Táchira state. The revelation was reported by Civil Protection of Táchira via social media.

Passersby alerted authorities on the morning of Saturday, July 26th.A fire team was dispatched to retrieve the body of the 53-year-old victim. Initial assessments suggest the former officialS vehicle, a gray, four-door Bird model, plunged approximately 80 meters into the ravine, resulting in fatal injuries to the driver. Evidence at the scene indicated the commissioner was traveling alone.

According to national media outlet Caraota Digital, the ex-commissioner had been reported missing since July 21st and was reportedly en route to San Cristóbal at the time of the incident. Investigations are ongoing to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the fatal fall.
