SpaceX and NASA Launch Crew-11 to ISS – July 31st

SpaceX and NASA are preparing for the 11th operational human spaceflight mission of the Dragon spacecraft, designated Crew-11, with a launch target of no earlier than thursday, July 31. The mission will lift off from Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The primary launch window is set for 12:09 p.m. ET, with a backup opportunity available on Friday, August 1 at 11:43 a.m.ET.

SpaceX will provide a live webcast of the launch, commencing approximately one hour before liftoff. The webcast can be viewed on X (formerly Twitter) via the @SpaceX account and is also accessible on the new X TV app.

SpaceX and NASA Launch Crew-11 to ISS – July 31st

The Crew-11 mission will carry NASA astronauts Zena Cardman and Mike Fincke, alongside JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Kimiya Yui and Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Platono to the International Space Station.

The Dragon spacecraft designated for this mission has a proven flight history, having previously supported the Demo-2, Crew-2, Ax-1, Crew-6, and Crew-8 missions to and from the International Space Station. Following the separation of its stages, the Falcon 9 first stage is scheduled to land at Landing Zone 1 (LZ-1) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

During their stay aboard the orbiting laboratory, the crew will engage in new scientific research aimed at advancing human exploration beyond low-Earth orbit and contributing to advancements that benefit life on Earth.
