US President Trump Highlights $60 Million in Food Aid to Gaza, Calls for Gratitude

Washington D.C. – U.S. President Donald Trump has publicly stated that the United States provided $60 million in food aid to Gaza, emphasizing that no other country has offered similar assistance adn expressing a desire for acknowledgment.

In remarks addressing the ongoing situation in Gaza, President Trump highlighted the meaningful financial contribution made by the U.S. for food aid. “We gave Gaza 60 million dollars for food,” he stated, noting that this aid has gone unacknowledged by other nations. He further commented on the lack of gratitude, saying, “At least you want someone to thank you. No other country has given you anything.” Trump specifically pointed out that European countries have not offered similar support, adding, “Nobody said, ‘Thank you very much.’ At least it would be nice to get a thank you.”

The President also addressed the dire humanitarian situation, particularly concerning children in Gaza. When asked about the images of starving children, Trump described the situation as “a terrible thing.” He elaborated on his observations, stating, “When I see children and especially sons, in the images I have seen for a few weeks, people are playing food, stealing money, stealing weapons. they steal everything. It’s a complete mess. Everywhere is terrible.”

Touching upon the issue of Israeli prisoners held in Gaza, President Trump mentioned that Israeli families are awaiting the return of the bodies of deceased prisoners. He confirmed meeting with some of these families and listening to their concerns. Trump also commented on the dynamics between Israel and Hamas, noting a shift from a “routine interview” to a hardening of positions.
