Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has issued a stern warning to Iran‘s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, stating that if iran continues to threaten Israel, the Israeli military will strike back at Iran with increased force, directly targeting Khamenei.
During a visit to an Israeli Air Force base on Sunday, Katz declared, “I want to send a clear message to the dictator Khamenei.” He elaborated, “If you continue to threaten Israel, then our long hand will reach Iran again, and with greater strength, and this time it will affect you personally.” Katz emphasized, “Do not threaten us, otherwise you will be harmed.”
The defense minister also commended the combat aircraft crews at Ramon Air Force base, in the presence of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. katz praised their “great work” in operations that he described as “opening the atmosphere in front of Tehran” and conducting “repeated strikes to the head of the Iranian octopus,” thereby removing “threats of genocide.”
This is not the first time Katz has directed threats towards Khamenei. On June 17, he reportedly threatened Khamenei with death, drawing a parallel to the fate of Saddam Hussein, according to The Jerusalem Post. Earlier, on July 10, Katz asserted that Israel’s reach extended to “any place in Iran, from Tehran to Isfahan to Tabriz,” adding that “there is no place for Iranian officials, who harm Israel, to hide.”
Katz also indicated on Tuesday evening that Israel might consider resuming its actions against iran, following a situation assessment with senior military leaders.
