A highlight was the traditional pairing of laima Vaikule and Andrei Makarevich, whose performance was lauded for its sincerity and emotional depth, marking it as one of the festival’s warmest moments, according to a press release.
Mario Biondi captivated the audience with his exclusive voice, his deep, velvet vocals fostering an intimate mood. Hollywood actor and singer Robert Davi paid homage to legends, reviving Frank Sinatra’s “My Way” and “New York, New York” with classical elegance.
The opening evening featured a diverse lineup including Gio Pika, the well-known Sunstroke Project, Estonia’s emerging star Alika, latvian vocalist Josesendo, Framest, Laima Voice finalist Diana Pakko, the talented Arpi Alto with Emilis chačaturian, and latvian performers Joss.
All performances were delivered live, accompanied by a full orchestra, a tradition upheld since the festival’s inception.
