Suspect Charged in Houston Shooting: Man Found Dead at West 34th Street

Suspect Charged in Fatal West 34th Street Shooting

Isaac Biais, 21, faces murder charges following a fatal shooting that occurred on West 34th Street. The incident resulted in the death of William Hall, 65.

The arrest marks a significant development in the investigation into the July 16 incident. Biais was taken into custody on July 17 for unrelated charges before being formally charged in Hall’s death on July 21.

Houston Police Department Homicide Division Detectives W. Elliott and D. Hobson are leading the investigation. Patrol officers initially responded to a shooting call at the 5175 West 34th Street location.

Upon arrival, officers discovered Hall, who had sustained at least one gunshot wound. Paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.

Initial findings indicate Hall was approached by two individuals on the street. A dispute may have occurred before the shooting. The suspects then fled the scene in a black sedan, heading east on West 34th Street.

Further investigation identified Biais as a suspect. He was arrested on unrelated charges last Thursday.

Background on the Incident
