Missouri State Women’s Basketball Honored for Academic Achievement

ATLANTA – Missouri State women’s basketball has received academic recognition from the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA), the organization announced today.
The WBCA academic Top 25 annually honors college women’s basketball teams across all divisions for achieving the highest combined grade-point averages (GPAs) among all student-athletes on their rosters throughout the entire season.This year marks the 30th occasion the WBCA has presented these accolades.
The 2024-25 Lady Bear squad achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.426, which qualified them for consideration for the top 25 and earned them a special mention for their academic success. Teams that maintain a 3.0 combined GPA and meet the criteria for top 25 consideration are designated as special mentions.
The Women’s Basketball Coaches Association,established in 1981,serves as the professional association for coaches of women’s and girls’ basketball at all competitive levels.
