Stem cell therapy for locomotion recovery and neuropathic pain alleviation in spinal cord injury: an umbrella review and meta-analysis

A recent systematic review and network meta-analysis explored the efficacy of stem cell-derived exosomes in treating traumatic spinal cord injury in rat models, with findings published in 2024.

This research builds upon earlier investigations, including a 2014 meta-analysis that examined the impact of intravenous transplantation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells on motor function recovery in rats with spinal cord injuries.
