Nîmes, France – Authorities have made significant strides in the recent wave of shootings plaguing Nîmes, arresting two individuals on suspicion of involvement. the arrests, carried out by the Research adn Intervention Brigade (BRI) and potentially the RAID, occurred during the night of Wednesday to Thursday, with support from other investigative units.

The two suspects are currently in police custody, though their identities and specific roles in the incidents have not yet been disclosed.The examination remains active, particularly concerning the tragic death of a 19-year-old whose body was discovered charred in a secluded area of Saint-Bénézet on Tuesday evening. While preliminary reports suggest a potential link between the shootings and this homicide, investigators emphasize that no definitive connection has been established at this time.
