Diddy Enrolls in programs Amidst Sentencing Preparations
Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly enrolled in the STOP program, which focuses on preventing sexual assault, domestic, and dating violence. Sources also indicate he is participating in a drug abuse therapy program under Dr. Harry K. Wexler. XXL has reached out to Diddy’s representatives for comment.
These programs come as Combs awaits sentencing following his acquittal on racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges on July 2. He was found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. Prosecutors are seeking a prison sentence of at least 51 months, while his defense is advocating for a baseline of 21 months. Combs has been in jail since his bail was denied after the verdict and will have served 13 months by the time of his sentencing on October 3.
The decision to participate in these programs could be part of Combs’ efforts toward rehabilitation and perhaps influence his sentencing. It is a common practice for individuals incarcerated to engage in such programs as part of their legal proceedings and personal development.
