Osan City (Mayor Lee Kwon -jae) announced that it will operate ‘Osan Narae AI Sharing School Summer Semester’ in 2025 from July to the first week of September to foster future talents for the digital era.
‘Osan Narae AI Sharing School’ is a program that provides customized digital education for teenagers from 3rd grade to 3rd grade in high school, including outside the school. It will be promoted as a public offering project for the Gyeonggi -do Office of Education, and Osan City was selected as a depositor from the Hwaseong Osan Office of Education Support, Gyeonggi -do in May.
This project is one of the core projects of Osan City’s ‘AI and Digital -oriented Education City’ strategy, which wants to cultivate future talents with digital literacy and practical capabilities by spreading the AI education infrastructure throughout the community.
In this summer, 16 programs are operated in five areas: artificial intelligence, autonomous driving, robotics, physical computing, and data science. The curriculum is composed of various from the basics to the deepening stage. It was organized to participate in various hours such as after -school, weekends, and vacation periods.
Education is held in 15 learning spaces located throughout Osan. In addition to elementary, middle, and high schools, public libraries, and Osan AI coding edu labs, public education facilities in the region are linked to any student. In particular, the quality of education was also strengthened by operating the public and the private sector.
Prior to the operation of the program, pre -workshops and training were also conducted for instructors. Through this, we shared the latest AI education trends and teaching methods, and jointly developed students’ customized practical contents to enhance the actual learning effect.
This summer semester is the extension of the AI and Digital Education Policy, which has been steadily promoted by Osan City. The city has continued to expand AI -based education infrastructure such as AI coding edu lab and AI and SW experience halls. In particular, it is focusing on breaking the digital gap between youth and fostering creative future capabilities.
