**Paul McCartney** Announces North American Tour
Got Back Tour extended into 2025 with new dates and locations.
**Paul McCartney** is set to embark on a North American tour, adding to his “Got Back Tour” that began in 2022. Starting in late September, the tour will feature new cities and familiar favorites.
Tour Highlights
**McCartney** will be performing in several cities, such as Atlanta, Montreal, and Chicago. New to the tour are stops in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and the Greater Palm Springs area, marking his first-ever performances in those locations.
While this marks **McCartney’s** first full tour in several years, he recently performed three intimate concerts at the Bowery Ballroom in New York this past February. These shows served as preparation for his appearance on SNL50: The Anniversary Special.
At the anniversary special, **McCartney** delivered a rendition of “Golden Slumbers / Carry That Weight / The End”
from The **Beatles**’ 1969 album, Abbey Road.
Other Projects
Earlier in the year, **McCartney** revealed his forthcoming book, Wings: The Story of a Band on the Run, scheduled for release on November 4. The 528-page book will explore the journey of his 1970s band, **Wings**, after The **Beatles** disbanded.
**Wings** also reissued a 50th-anniversary edition of Band on the Run and One Hand Clapping in 2024. Live music is seeing a resurgence, with concert revenue in North America jumping to $10.4 billion in 2023 (Statista).
