Kyiv Region Enterprise Ablaze After Russian Attack
A substantial fire erupted at an industrial site in the Kyiv region following a Russian attack, quickly engulfing 8,000 square meters. Efforts to extinguish the blaze are underway.
Fire Details and Location
According to the State Emergencies Ministry of Ukraine’s Facebook page, the fire broke out following a night attack. Victoria Ruban, a speaker for the State Emergencies Ministry in the Kyiv region, specified that the blaze is affecting the Union of Industrial Pallets, located in the village of Trekhov, Brovarsky District.
Current Status
“The fire has already been localized. The liquidation continues. According to preliminary data, there were no victims,”
stated Ruban.
The attack is part of a broader pattern; the UN Human Rights Office has documented that attacks on infrastructure are causing increased civilian casualties in Ukraine (OHCHR, March 2024).
Emergency services are continuing to work to fully extinguish the fire and assess the extent of the damage.
