Delhi Fires: Six Injured in Thursday Incidents

Delhi firefighters responded to five major fire incidents on Thursday, with six people sustaining injuries across two separate events.

LPG Cylinder Blast in Seelampur

Four individuals were injured in an LPG cylinder explosion in Seelampur, located in northeast Delhi. According to the Delhi Fire Service, the incident occurred at 11:17 a.m. and was brought under control by 11:45 a.m. The injured were promptly transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Sofa Cleaning Incident in New Friends Colony

In a separate incident, two workers suffered burns in New Friends Colony. the fire reportedly ignited when thinner,a solvent used for cleaning,caught fire while the workers were cleaning sofa sets.

While the workers were cleaning the clothes, a spark was produced due to rubbing, causing the thinner to catch fire. Four-five vehicles and four ambulances were rushed to the site, along with local police, and the fire was doused

the injured workers were identified as Satish Kumar, who sustained 20% burns, and Satendar Kumar, who suffered 50% burns. Initially,they were admitted to Holy Family Hospital before being transferred to Safdarjung Hospital for specialized care.
