Recall that the three hostages were released in exchange for more than 180 Palestinian prisoners, who are expected to be released later today.
Hamas claimed in November 2023 that Shiri, Kfir and Ariel Bibas were killed in an Israeli air raid and released a Yarden Bibas hostage video accusing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for their death.
A spokesman for the IDF at that time called the video “Psychological Terror”. Although Israel has never confirmed their death, the army told relatives that they may not be alive, according to a spokesman for the hostage and missing families forum.
