Since 2:30 p.m. several SNCF TER lines have been interrupted in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes due to a risk of violent storms in the north of the region.
In reasons exceptional thunderstorms expected this Tuesday, July 11, particularly in Burgundy and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, the SCNF announced the interruption of TER traffic on many lines from 2:30 p.m.
🔴 To follow up on the France weather alerts, the weather conditions will deteriorate very significantly in the north of the Region this afternoon.

About ten lines concerned
Several lines are notably interrupted at least until 7 p.m. in the Rhône and the Loire, the two departments having been placed on orange vigilance for thunderstorms by Météo France.
Lyon – St Etienne Lyon – Mâcon Lyon – Ambérieu Lyon – Roanne St Etienne – Roanne St Etienne – Montbrison
Three other lines are also affected by interruptions, which will continue until the end of service:
St Etienne – Le Puy-en-Velais Lyon – Paray-le-Monial and Lyon – Bourg-en-Bresse
Elsewhere in the Region, the SNCF also announced interruptions between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on the following lines:
Ambérieu – Bourg-en-Bresse Bourg-en-Bresse – Macon Bourg-en-Bresse – Saint-Amour
