"Fourth Time's a Charm? Demon Dog Ralphie Gets a Fresh Start in New Foster Home"

Ralphie the ‘demon dog’ who went viral because he was returned a couple of times to the Niagara shelter in New York, is going to a new home.

The Niagara SPCA shelter reported that this will be the fourth time that he will seek to find a new family.

The pet underwent an intensive training course for six weeks prior to being put up for adoption.

Following the Frenchie’s fame, the shelter reviewed hundreds of requests before settling on one.

“After reviewing over 700 emails, speaking to several dozen potential adopters, and submitting applicants to Ralphie’s Trainer for review, we found that we think he’s the perfect Ralphie adopter,” they wrote on their Facebook page.

Ralphie will live with another frenchie, a daschund and a German shepherd.

The new family has already adopted several ‘restless’ dogs, so they hope this will be the ultimate home for the pet.

“I’ve always wanted to try new things and enjoy life,” she told Univision 41. “Since I was never allowed to do dangerous things, once I had the opportunity to choose for myself, I just did it. I feel like I have nothing to lose, especially at this age, so I just want to do it!”

Rorer says that in addition to his grandmother’s adrenaline, he also tries to inherit her philosophy of life. “She always says take each day as it comes and be thankful you woke up today, and I try to embody that even when it’s easy to forget in this hectic world.”

“I don’t know where he got the idea from, but he loves to fly and he had seen people do it at military events, because my grandfather fought in World War II. I think it was something that intrigued him and he decided to do it, at 85 years old”.

On February 20, 2023, Marge visited her granddaughter in Hawaii and they decided to move up her 95th birthday a few months, which is in August, to make their third parachute jump together.

The granddaughter acknowledges that she was more nervous than her grandmother, because when she asked how she felt, her grandmother told her that she was “relaxed with the scenery” from 14,000 feet above sea level.

Although that trip through the skies of Hawaii has just happened, the unstoppable grandmother is already planning new adventures: she plans to participate in a boat race, and make her fourth parachute jump this year.

Chelsea Rorer says that about to turn 95, her grandmother can do whatever extreme sport she wants. “It is as healthy as a hair. She only takes one medicine, she has always been super healthy, so since she is in great health and has no problems, let her have as much fun as she can.
