3Quency, Winners of Netflix‘s ‘Building the Band,’ Release Debut ⁢Single ‍’Top Down

Months after winning the Netflix⁤ singing competition Building the Band, the female group 3Quency – ‌comprised of Brianna Mazzola, ⁢nori Moore, and ⁤Wennely Quezada – has released⁣ their first single, “Top Down,” alongside a music video. The release marks the beginning of their‌ journey as a signed act with Records/Columbia Records.Building the Band, which premiered on July 9 and was hosted by​ AJ McLean of the Backstreet Boys, challenged aspiring musicians to form groups and compete for a $500,000 prize. 3Quency ultimately triumphed over the mixed group ​SZN4 ⁤in the ⁤finale to claim⁣ the victory. Nicole Scherzinger mentored ⁢the six groups,while Liam Payne and ⁤Kelly Rowland served ‌as judges.

the new R&B⁣ track, produced⁢ by Tommy‌ Brown (known⁢ for his work with Ariana Grande, ⁤Justin Bieber, and The Weeknd), showcases the group’s dynamic and individual talents. “Working with Tommy​ Brown and his camp is such a blessing,” Mazzola stated to⁤ TODAY.com. “He has ‌curated a space where creatives can⁣ be who⁢ they really are…His ear and musical mind are so rare‍ to come​ by and he’s a dream‍ to work with.”

Quezada expressed ‌excitement about signing their record deal, calling it⁢ “an achievement and dream that all three of us have worked really hard⁤ for.” Moore added that⁣ filming the music⁢ video, directed by Ava ​Rikki, was a fun experience, saying, “We ‌definitely had a ⁢time…it’s ⁢always fun to ⁣finally see our ideas visually coming together.”
