The 2026 BMW M2 CS carries a price tag of $172,900 plus on-road costs in Australia, exceeding the price of a standard rear-wheel-drive BMW M3, which starts at $169,100 plus on-road costs, according to recent track testing.
BMW announced the M2 CS, the most powerful iteration of its entry-level M car, with Australian deliveries scheduled to begin by the end of 2025. The vehicle boasts performance rivaling the M4 CS. The price represents a significant increase over the previous M2 CS, which sold for $147,400 in 2020, and is $44,800 more expensive than the standard BMW M2 Coupe.
The M2 CS is exclusively offered with rear-wheel drive and comes standard with adaptive M suspension. It is not available with all-wheel drive.
