Columbia, MO – July 10, 2025 – adam Puchta Winery‘s 2024 Dry Vignoles has earned the prestigious Missouri governor’s Cup, the top honor at the 2025 Missouri Governor’s Cup Wine Competition. The results were announced following two days of blind tastings by eight distinguished judges, who evaluated wines submitted from across the state.
the annual competition, held in Columbia, Missouri, from July 8-10, saw 260 wines entered.Spencer Manor Winery’s 2023 Norton was recognized with the C.V. Riley award for best Norton, while Jowler Creek Winery’s 2024 Estate Vignoles received the Husmann-Jaeger award for best varietal white wine.
A panel of eight esteemed judges,bringing a diverse range of expertise and qualifications from throughout the United States,awarded a total of 56 gold medals,116 silver medals,and 53 bronze medals across the various categories.
