滑手機前先走路?iPhone 四款新 App 用「限制」幫你戒掉螢幕成癮 – ePrice.TW
A developer has released a suite of four iPhone applications under the “Before You” brand designed to curb screen addiction by imposing mandatory physical and organizational requirements before users can access specific apps.
Task-Based Access Mechanisms
The “Before You” suite operates on a central premise: users must complete a predetermined action—ranging from physical activity to productivity tasks—to unlock their device’s more distracting features. Each of the four applications targets a different behavioral trigger to help users reduce overall screen time and re-establish daily routines.

The application “Stroll before you Scroll” integrates with the device’s health data. It requires users to reach a specific daily step goal before the software permits the opening of designated applications.
To discourage mindless scrolling through physical separation, “Scan before you Can” requires the user to scan a QR code. The developer suggests placing these codes in separate rooms, forcing the user to physically move away from their current environment to lift application restrictions.
Productivity is addressed via “Your Day before you Play,” which integrates with Apple Reminders. This app prevents access to social media or gaming applications until the user has marked their listed to-do tasks as complete.
Finally, “Zone before you Phone” utilizes location-based triggers. The app automatically hides distracting applications based on the user’s current location, such as restricting social media platforms while the user is at their workplace.
Pricing and Distribution Model
The developer has opted for a one-time payment structure for the suite, explicitly excluding advertising and subscription-based revenue models. Individual applications within the “Before You” set are priced at $2.99 USD each.
The suite is available as a complete package for users seeking to implement all four restriction methods simultaneously.
