Solorz Ousted from Elektrim Supervisory Board as Family Feud intensifies
Warsaw, Poland – October 17, 2025 – zygmunt Solorz has been removed from his position on the supervisory board of Elektrim, signaling a further escalation in a protracted family dispute over control of the Polish conglomerate. The move comes as his daughter, Patrycja Solorz-Glazek, reportedly seeks greater influence within the company, and follows recent developments indicating a potential shift in investment strategy toward space exploration ventures.
The shareholders’ decision to dismiss Solorz marks a significant loss of direct oversight for the media and telecommunications magnate within Elektrim, a company he has long controlled. Bożena Grybalow, a veteran of the firm with over two decades of service, was simultaneously appointed to the supervisory council and named its chairwoman. This transition is expected to reshape the company’s governance and perhaps alter its future direction. The stakes are high, as Elektrim represents a significant portion of Solorz’s business empire, and the ongoing family conflict threatens to destabilize key holdings.
Grybalow, who began her association with Elektrim in 1998,ascended to the company’s management board in 2020 and became its president a year later. She formally resigned from the management board on Thursday, clearing the path for her appointment to the supervisory role.
The developments follow reports of solorz’s exploration of a major investment with Axiom Space, a private aerospace manufacturer, suggesting a potential diversification beyond his traditional media interests. This potential investment, while unofficial, has fueled speculation about a broader restructuring of Solorz’s holdings and a possible power struggle with his daughter.
