A large fire erupted in Zvolen, Slovakia, on Tuesday evening, engulfing a production hall on Lieskovská cesta. Firefighters are currently on scene battling the blaze, according to the Operational Center of the Banská Bystrica Regional Fire and Rescue Service (HaZZ).
The hall is reported to be completely ablaze, with 20 firefighters and 12 pieces of equipment deployed to contain the fire. Štefan Mokrý of the Banská Bystrica Regional HaZZ confirmed that the fire was localized Tuesday evening. According to the building’s owners, no individuals were inside the hall at the time the fire broke out. No injuries have been reported.
Both professional and volunteer firefighters are working to extinguish the flames.
