Macon, Ga. – Mercer University defeated Oglethorpe University 100-50 on Sunday, December 7, 2025, with Bendji Pierre scoring 17 points for the Bears.

Pierre, a senior forward from Irvington, N.J., also contributed six rebounds to Mercer’s victory, according to the Associated Press. Armani Mighty added 14 points and 12 rebounds, while Kyle Cuffe Jr. Scored 13 points, shooting 5-for-9 from the field, including 3-for-6 from beyond the arc.

Logan Turner led Oglethorpe with 12 points, and Jackson Kemp added 11 points and five assists. Mercer’s win improved their record to 7-2, while Oglethorpe fell to 7-2.

The game saw Mercer establish a significant lead, with a final score reflecting their dominance over the Division III opponent.
