Your Favorite Toy Tracklist: Echo, Window & Child Actor Details

March 20, 2026 Julia Evans – Entertainment Editor Entertainment

Foo Fighters released “Caught In The Echo” on Wednesday, March 20, 2026, the third single from their upcoming twelfth studio album, Your Favorite Toy. The song is available now across all digital platforms, according to a press release.

The release follows the album’s title track, “Your Favorite Toy,” which The New York Times described as “back-to-basics garage-rock delivered in a welter of noisy guitars,” and garnered praise from Vice, who called it an “unhinged” offering. “Caught In The Echo” is positioned as the album’s opener and is being touted as the band’s most explosive track since “Bridge Burning” from their 2011 album, Wasting Light.

The song’s lyrics feature a repeated questioning, “Do I? Do I? Do I? Do I?” leading to a concluding plea of “Who can save us now?” The band intends the track to establish the tone for Your Favorite Toy, emphasizing a raw and energetic sound.

Your Favorite Toy is scheduled for release on April 24 via Roswell Records/RCA Records. The album was co-produced by Foo Fighters and Oliver Roman, engineered by Roman, and mixed by Mark “Spike” Stent. The ten-song tracklist includes: “Caught In The Echo,” “Of All People,” “Window,” “Your Favorite Toy,” “If You Only Knew,” “Spit Shine,” “Unconditional,” “Child Actor,” “Amen, Caveman,” and “Asking For A Friend.”

The album’s release coincides with the band’s “Grab Cover” world tour. A show scheduled for April 28 at the Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut, is already sold out. In a promotional effort, Dave and Harper Grohl hand-painted artwork on 20 CDs of “Caught In The Echo” and hid them in various locations throughout the San Fernando Valley.
