Yellowstone Country Club’s golf course gets $2M renovation

BILLINGS, MT – October 26, 2023 -⁢ Yellowstone Country Club’s golf course is undergoing‌ a $2 million renovation project aimed at enhancing ⁢the playing experience and preserving the course’s ​natural ‍beauty. The project, wich began this fall, focuses⁣ on improvements to the irrigation⁤ system, bunkers, and greens.

The renovation includes a complete overhaul​ of the course’s irrigation system, replacing​ aging infrastructure with a modern, ⁢water-efficient ⁢system. All 18 bunkers will be⁣ reshaped ⁣and⁤ rebuilt, and the greens will⁢ be resurfaced with a ⁣new ​bentgrass‌ variety.‌

“This renovation is a ⁣significant investment in ‍the future of Yellowstone Country Club,” said general Manager Jeff ‌Patterson.”We are committed to providing our​ members and guests​ with a world-class⁢ golfing experience, and these improvements will⁤ help us achieve ⁣that goal.”

Yellowstone Country club, established⁤ in 1919, is a‍ private, member-owned club located in ⁤Billings, Montana. ​The 18-hole course, designed ⁣by A.V.⁤ Macan, is known for its challenging layout and ⁣stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The ‍club also offers a variety of ‍amenities, including ​a clubhouse, ‍dining facilities, and practice areas. The renovation is expected to be completed by spring 2024.
