BILLINGS, MT – October 26, 2023 - Yellowstone Country Club’s golf course is undergoing a $2 million renovation project aimed at enhancing the playing experience and preserving the course’s natural beauty. The project, wich began this fall, focuses on improvements to the irrigation system, bunkers, and greens.
The renovation includes a complete overhaul of the course’s irrigation system, replacing aging infrastructure with a modern, water-efficient system. All 18 bunkers will be reshaped and rebuilt, and the greens will be resurfaced with a new bentgrass variety.

Yellowstone Country club, established in 1919, is a private, member-owned club located in Billings, Montana. The 18-hole course, designed by A.V. Macan, is known for its challenging layout and stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The club also offers a variety of amenities, including a clubhouse, dining facilities, and practice areas. The renovation is expected to be completed by spring 2024.
