Xbox Partner Preview: New Games & Updates Revealed March 26
Microsoft has announced an Xbox Partner Preview showcase scheduled for this Thursday, March 26, at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. UK time, promising updates on several upcoming titles and the unveiling of new game announcements. The event will be livestreamed, according to a post on X (formerly Twitter) by Xbox.
The showcase will focus on games from third-party developers and publishers, with confirmed presentations including Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s Stranger Than Heaven, GSC Game World’s S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, and Owlcat Games’ The Expanse: Osiris Reborn. The Expanse: Osiris Reborn is an action-RPG based on the James S.A. Corey science fiction series. Stranger Than Heaven represents a new project from the creators of the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series. Attendees can expect to witness new gameplay footage and details regarding an update to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2.
Microsoft stated the event will feature “world premieres, first looks at gameplay, and updates” on titles coming to Xbox consoles, PC, and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. The company emphasized that the showcase is “totally focused on sharing exciting game news from our talented partners across the world,” managing expectations that no hardware announcements are anticipated.
The Xbox Partner Preview follows closely on the heels of Microsoft’s Game Developers Conference 2026 keynote, where details were revealed regarding the next-generation Xbox, codenamed Project Helix. The event is expected to last approximately 30 minutes.
Games featured in the showcase also include 007 First Light, available for $69.99 and up, according to the Xbox website.
