Xbox Partner Preview: Latest Updates & Upcoming Games
Microsoft will showcase updates on several upcoming titles, including Stalker 2, Stranger Than Heaven, and The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, during its Xbox Partner Preview broadcast on Thursday, March 26, the company announced Monday. The digital event, scheduled to last approximately 30 minutes, will also feature “first looks and announcements” for other games heading to Xbox consoles, PC, and Xbox Game Pass, according to a statement from Microsoft.
The showcase will begin at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. UK time. Microsoft emphasized that the Partner Preview will focus on games from third-party publishers, meaning no news regarding its internal studios is expected. This format, designed to highlight contributions from both AAA studios and independent developers, debuted in October 2023.
Previous Xbox Partner Preview events have included world premieres for titles such as Vampire Crawlers, Armatus, and Raji: Kaliyuga, as well as previews of downloadable content for Dave the Diver and Hitman: World of Assassination. The upcoming broadcast follows closely on the heels of Microsoft’s Game Developers Conference 2026 keynote, where the company provided details on the next-generation Xbox, codenamed Project Helix.
Stranger Than Heaven is a third-person action-adventure game developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the creators of the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series. The Expanse: Osiris Reborn is a game from Owlcat Games, the developer of Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader. Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl is being developed by GSC Game World.
Microsoft stated that the Xbox Partner Preview will include multiple world premieres and gameplay reveals, and that some of the featured titles will be available with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on day one. The company also noted that the event is “totally focused on sharing exciting game news from our talented partners across the world,” managing expectations that no hardware announcements will be made.
