Wyoming DOT Seeks Public Input for 2050 Transportation Plan
CHEYENNE, Wyo. – The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) has launched an online, self-guided public meeting to gather input on its 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan.
This plan will establish a framework for guiding decisions and shaping Wyoming’s transportation network for the next 25 years.
According to a WYDOT release,the LRTP will serve as a guide for transportation network decisions. It aims to create a vision for the state’s transportation infrastructure through 2050.
WYDOT stated that the plan’s progress involves collaboration with stakeholders and the public. The LRTP employs a systemic approach to assess transportation needs, identify improvement opportunities, and plan for diverse revenue streams and programming.
