WWE RAW: Penta defeats Bron Breakker and Bayley challenges Valkyria
The broadcast opened with a video package recapping last week’s friction between the 946 group and the Bloodline. Roman Reigns arrived in a parking lot vehicle shortly before Sami Zayn pulled in.
Reigns steered the conversation toward allegiance, asking Zayn if he was back out of love or to serve the Bloodline, while reminding him that Reigns remains the undisputed head of the table. Zayn defended his status as the WWE Champion, pointing out that he won the most difficult title on the roster. Reigns countered that the undisputed championship had lost value since WrestleMania 40, asserting that the World Heavyweight Championship is the primary title now. As Zayn warned Reigns not to underestimate him ahead of Crown Jewel, Penta arrived to stare down both men, brandishing his Money in the Bank briefcase.
In the ring competition that followed, Penta faced Bron Breakker in a singles match. Austin Theory and Maxxine Dupri interfered to provide a distraction, allowing Breakker to execute a mid-air Spear. Je’Von Evans subsequently neutralized Theory by striking him with the briefcase, enabling Penta to deliver a Mexican Destroyer to secure the three-count victory over Breakker.
Backstage following the bout, Jackie interviewed Roman Reigns regarding the interference from Zayn and Penta.
In tag team action, Chelsea Green and Iyo Sky squared off against Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez, with Liv Morgan at ringside. Liv Morgan interfered by pushing Green off the top rope while the referee was distracted. Sky capitalized on the chaos by avoiding Rodriguez and executing a quick roll-up pin to capture the victory for her team.
The broadcast featured an inserted video from the 946 clan, where Royce Keys, Carmelo Hayes, and Jaida Parker declared that nobody is safe. The Judgment Day then emerged, with Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh promoting an upcoming match against Joe Hendry. Hendry entered accompanied by a large-headed mascot of McDonagh. During the closing moments, Dominik attempted to interfere with a guitar, but the mascot knocked him down.
In the women’s division, Lola Vice defeated Lyra Valkyria, setting up subsequent events. During the bout, Bayley interfered from beneath the ring by grabbing Valkyria’s hair, allowing Vice to land a back fist for the three-count. A furious Valkyria shoved Bayley down after the bell, prompting Bayley to challenge her to a No Disqualification Match for the following week on RAW.
Adam Pearce discussed Stephanie Vaquer’s injury status backstage, noting she remains injured. Becky Lynch confronted Pearce, arguing that she deserved the first match against Liv Morgan in Vaquer’s absence. Lynch proposed a match against Vaquer where the winner could face Morgan for the title, leading Pearce to accept the match once Vaquer receives medical clearance.
The Intercontinental Championship was defended in a Triple Threat match as Chad Gable put the title on the line against Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee. Dragon Lee executed a Styles Clash on Rey and a powerbomb on Gable, but Rey repeatedly broke up the pinfall attempts. In the closing sequence, Rey hit a 619 on both opponents and attempted a springboard maneuver, which Gable countered by catching him and rolling him up for the winning pin.
Post-match celebrations were cut short when Ethan Page and Big Cass attacked Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee, and Chad Gable from behind, with Page holding the Intercontinental title high.
The show concluded with a chaotic scene as Jey and Jimmy Uso arrived carrying baseball bats and chairs to address the 946 clan. The 946 group surrounded the ring, but Solo Sikoa arrived to assist the Usos. As the numbers game overwhelmed the Bloodline and the Usos, Roman Reigns returned to the ring, hitting a Superman Punch on Royce Keys and clearing the area as the broadcast signed off.
