Wu Bai Announces Rock Star 3 Tour and Live Album Release

October 20, 2026 Julia Evans – Entertainment Editor Entertainment

Singer Wu Bai has announced that his “Rock Star 3″ world tour will commence in Kaohsiung in June 2027. Following the conclusion of his 58-show “Rock Star 2” tour this past September, the artist is currently preparing for his next stage of performances while readying a commemorative live concert recording for fans.

Expanding the Rock Star Legacy

The upcoming “Rock Star 3” tour marks a significant milestone for the veteran performer. By 2027, Wu Bai will celebrate his 37th year in the industry, alongside the 35th anniversary of his band, China Blue. According to reporting by The Epoch Times, the artist maintains a consistent branding strategy for his large-scale productions, utilizing the “Rock Star” title across multiple iterations while distinguishing each tour series by a sequential number.

The foundation for this next chapter is the release of the “Rock Star 1” concert recording. Pre-orders for the album begin October 23, with a formal release scheduled for November 13. The recording captures the 2022 performances that served as a turning point for the tour’s trajectory, which was previously interrupted by the global pandemic. From 2018, the “Rock Star” series spanned 6 years with 52 shows across 36 locations, the longest run among Wu Bai’s large-scale concerts.

Wu Bai Curates Live Album for Anniversary

The transition between tour cycles allows the production team time to recharge after the extensive 58-show run of “Rock Star 2.” For the new live album, Wu Bai curated 13 tracks intended to represent the comprehensive experience of his concerts. The release also features the song “Brothers,” a track included to mark the 35th anniversary of his collaboration with China Blue.

As the artist moves into the planning phase for the tour, the logistics involve preparing for the upcoming live shows featuring the Band Sound aesthetic that fans associate with his performances.
